Perfect Flush

I don't know about you but for me, putting blush on was one of the hardest things to do. I would either never end up with color on my cheeks, or it would look too fake. A few days ago I went blush shopping and the sales associate showed me a really easy way to apply the darn thing, great thing is, it is SUPER easy :) Okay locate the ends of your eyes go down until you see or feel you cheek bone, this is going to be your starting point of your blusher. Next with a brush or your fingers you would put the color on by moving up towards your hair.
I hope that wasn't too confusing!

Etude House Nail Polish Trio

I love it when Etude House comes out with their limited edition nail polish trios! They are always easy to use, and  I always get compliments on them! This Party Glam edition is my FAVORITE! They are great for dances and come in three different colors to match your look; pink, silver, and gold. I got the gold one, but I think I'm going to go back for the rest of them.

Packaging:
The box really caught my eye! It is really shiny and it follows the color of the nail polishes; so the silver one will have a silver box! The finger on the box does not do justice on how nice the nails will look. The bottles are the same as any Etude House nail polishes are, cute. However, I had an incident with one Etude House nail polish breaking (not this one) and saw how thing the glass was so careful!

They all have signs of glitter

My Experience:
Doing the nails were a breeze. The only complication was the most glittery bottle because not a lot of the glitter would stick to the brush! My only concern it getting this off, but that's another story :)

Fourth day and still no chips (with base and top coat)

Fourth day

Overall:
Easy to do, reasonably priced (6500 Won about 6.50 dollars), and long lasting. Love it!

Eye Shadow

Holika Holika's eye shadows are my favorite drugstore Korean products. They are very pigmented and they have a nice glide and creaminess to them unlike other companies' shadows which have this kind of grittiness to them. Plus, they have a lot of sales that make them buy one get one :) Now lets go in depth with this product!

Packaging
The packaging is simple, but cheap looking. They are as decorative with their original eye shadows  (meaning their permanent line), however, their limited edition eye shadows are a bit pricier than i would expect for a "drugstore" product.
both matte colors great for a natural everyday look

Dark Chocolate and Dusty
vanilla

Texture:
As mentioned above, it is creamy and pigmented. It isn't as creamy as the Urban Decay eye shadows, but it is getting there!

Overall:
They are about 4 -5 dollars (4000 - 5000 Won) depending each eye shadow's finish (the matte ones are cheaper). I'll defiantly repurchase these and if you have the chance to buy them as well, go for it!

Shampoo and Conditioner

I really need to post more often...
Okay between the time period of about three months I've tried out 3 hair products. Skinfood's Pomegranate Scalp Hair Pack, and Lush's shampoo and conditioner in Big and American Cream. I can say the hair pack one was a miss and the other two were hits.

Skinfood
I used Skinfood's Pomegranate Scalp Hair Pack in place of my normal Pantene conditioner. It claims that with use, you are going to get healthier scalp and hair. Unfortunately, I got neither. After use, my scalp became really itchy, and my hair looked the same. The results weren't the same as the ones I got from Skinfood's Moisture Egg Hair Pack. The pomegranate one costed more and it didn't do anything. In addition, the packaging wasn't very study. I dropped it by accident and it broke in half. I wasn't able to use the pump to it's extent for it broke on the third day :(
The smell of this product it very faint. Its so faint that you forget this product is suppose to have a scent. To me it smells slightly floral. If you are stuck between this and the egg moisture pack, definitely go for the the egg one by skinfood.

Lush
These two are my first hair products from Lush. I decided to buy them because of the wonderful reviews I've read and heard about them. In Korea, Lush is pretty expensive depending on which product you buy. The shampoo Big is about 28000 won which is about 28 dollars. Compared to how much it is in the US (22.95) its not that bad. However, the largest size of American Cream is about 40000 which is equivalent to about 40 dollars. Now that compared to the US (28.95) is a huge difference. I have no idea why, but i really wish i knew. Anyways, back to what I think about the two products. I think they are both GREAT. Big lathers amazingly well, while American Cream gives me soft hair. The smell lingers in my hair until I have to go shower again (2 days) and my hair just looks and feels stronger. I don't know which of the two product is giving my hair this shine, but I think it is the combination of both. The idea of sea salt in my shampoo was kind of weird, but trust me, the salt dissolves leaving just the shampoo as soon as it touches your wet hair. The smell of this product is something I can deal with, but I think its one of those love it or hate it type of smell. It sort of smells like laundry detergent, a slight lemony scent. I do prefer the scent of American cream than Big, but Big seems to overcome American cream. One thing that really surprised me was how my hair felt really tangled and rubber like as soon as I washed out Big from my hair. Apparently they reason for this is because there is no silicon in this product. Thankfully, my hair became really soft and shiny when it was dry, so that really wasn't a problem. Despite the high price of the product, I'm totally going to repurchase this and I really recommend you to try these two products out!

Honey = Lifesaver

Recently my skin has been breaking out and I found the best way to treat it! Its cheap and you already have it in your kitchen! Drumroll.... HONEY! Honey is known to open up pores and cleanse them while moisturizing your skin all at the same time. Here are some ways to use it as a mask! Trust me, I was amazed at the results!

Tea Tree Honey Mask
  1. One table spoon of Honey
  2. One drop of Tea Tree Oil
Mix them well and slather it on your face. Leave it on for about 10~15 minutes. I usually do this before taking a shower since honey does get a bit messy.... Your face should feel really soft and your pimple(s) should be less red and inflammed. Their size may also be decreased! I would do this for about 2~3 times a week
Another way to use honey is using it as an overnight spot treater. Put on honey on you pimple(s) after you usual skin rountine. After I just put on a bandaid over the pimple(s) and the next day, it's usually decreased in size and the less red!
Hope you found it helpful! Tell my how it goes or what you do when you break out!!!

Hair Mask

After noticing that my hair looked really unhealthy I went out and got Skinfood's Moisture Egg Hair Pack. It was about 6000 Won around 6 dollars US. I used this for about a month once a week and it made my hair really soft with less frizz. It smells like cookie dough and I LOOOOOVE it! The smell just lingers in your hair for about a day and it always leaves my craving for a cookie! After using this, I think I've experieced some hair lose... When I touch my hair it just feels like I have less hair... Maybe it's because there is less frizz = less volume? Overall I really like this hair mask and would totally repurchase. However, I want to try other Skinfood's hair mask so I will probably not get this again unless this is better!

Okay first of all it has been such a long time since I last posted! Oh and happy new years! I've been really busy and posting was the last thing on my mind. Anyways, there is this amazing skincare "device" that I recently bought at Sephora and it has changed my skin drastically!  This amazing device is an oval shaped, made of rubber with many "fibers" on it;  scrubbler (thats what I call it). It was about $7 (Cnd) and it is definitely worth the price. Its suppose it gently exfoliate your skin and help remove your black heads. What I love about this is that the handle has a little suction cup that you can stick on your mirror or shower walls after you are finished.
I don't have HUGE skin problems just a pimple here and there with a few black heads on my nose. This thing didn't get rid of my blackheads but this thing made my skin so soft and smooth. Also, this made my cleansers much more effective! Currently I use Clinique's cleanser (the one in the green bottle that comes with the 3 step system) and I didn't really think that the cleanser lathered very well. Oh boy was I wrong! This thing made so much bubbles you wouldn't believe it! I didn't use more or less of the product, but the way it lathered on this scrubbler vs. my hand was unbelievable!
How to use this: This does not come with instructions so this is how I use it. I use this only at night for it does somewhat exfoliate your skin and you do not want to get out in the sun right after (even if you use sunscreen). I wet my face and the scrubbler and put a pea size on the center of the scrubbler. After, I just gently rub it against my face and you will start seeing bubbles. Rinse and just do your regular skincare :)

Overall 5/5 I would totally purchase this!
